One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic. What does this signify?

All of us that have ever gone to Catholic Mass while growing up have heard the four marks of the Church in the Nicene Creed many times. It says, "One, holy, Catholic, apostolic". what does this group of terms mean for us Catholics? These terms mean many things, beside being the four causes of the Church. Scholastic philosophy, which is the official philosophy used by the church to dogmatize and define teaching for ages, has shown that everything that exists has four causes. this philosophy is also known as Aristotelian/Thomistic philosophy. It is also known as Thomism, because it was started by Aristotle and perfected by St.Thomas Aquinas. Nature was perfected by grace. There is the material cause, which is the matter or stuff out of which something is made out of. There is the formal cause, which is the shape, form, or account of a thing. There is the efficient cause, and this is whatever caused it to be made. Finally, there is the. final cause, which is why it was made or the purpose for which it was made. We can demonstrate the four causes, taking for example a wax duck statue. The material cause is the wax. The formal cause would be the shape of a duck. The efficient cause would be the artist or manufacturer, his ideas, skillful art, and the instruments such as the mold and heat that was used in making it. The final cause would be why it was made. Examples include: monetary gain by selling it in a store, or for decoration, and so on. The Church's material cause is the stuff that it is made out of, namely its members, which come from all parts of the world. "Catholic" comes from Greek and it means international, worldwide, or universal. It is a church for all people of all races, languages, and nationalities. The formal cause of the church is that it is "One" and since Christ is one and has only one body, this One, holy, Catholic, and Apostolic church is the only church and the only Christianity. Any form or shape is unified into one thing. It could not be two things, or more, because then it would not have one form but two forms or more. The efficient cause is the group of people called apostles. Although this is a proximate cause and not the ultimate cause, which is God, it is the efficient cause mentioned in the creed and in the acts of the apostles. The final cause is holiness. The church is the means and vehicle for holiness, through its teaching, the sacraments, its power of faculties, and its authority. The final cause is why we should all join and participate sincerely in the Catholic Church.
